Privacy Policy & SMS Terms

SMS / text message program
Program description. Harold's Quality Auto Repair Inc ("Harold's", "we") sends text messages for two purposes: (1) service messages about an appointment or repair you have with us, such as confirmations, inspection reports, estimates for approval, ready-for-pickup notices and payment links; and (2) marketing messages such as coupons, seasonal specials and service-due reminders, only if you have opted in by texting a keyword to our number or checking the consent box on a form on this site.
Frequency. Service messages vary by repair. Marketing messages are approximately 2 per month.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.
Opt out. Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive one final confirmation message. Opting out of marketing does not stop service messages about an active repair; tell your service advisor if you'd prefer calls or email for those.
Help. Reply HELP to any message, call , or email the shop.
Consent. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No sharing of SMS consent. Your mobile number and your consent to receive texts are not sold, rented or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. They are shared only with the vendors that send messages on our behalf.
Privacy policy
What we collect. Your name, contact details, vehicle information (year, make, model, VIN, mileage), service history, inspection photos and payment confirmation (we do not store card numbers; our payment processor handles those). Website forms collect what you type into them and the page you were on.
How we use it. To perform and document repairs, communicate about your vehicle, honor the warranty, send reminders you've asked for, and run the shop. We use shop-management, customer-communication and payment vendors to do this, and they process your data under contract with us.
What we don't do. We don't sell your personal information. We don't share it with anyone except the vendors needed to serve you, or where the law requires.
Your choices. Ask us any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop any kind of communication. Some records must be retained for warranty and tax purposes.
Website analytics and advertising. This site may use Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking and the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure visits and the results of our advertising. These tools set cookies and may record pages viewed and actions such as tapping "call" or submitting a form. They do not receive your card details or repair records. You can opt out with your browser's cookie settings, the Google Analytics opt-out, and your Meta ad preferences. Embedded maps and fonts are served by Google and subject to Google's privacy policy.
